I had four interviews for an SRE position at OpsGenie Ankara. I was expecting to get an offer since we proceeded through all the steps, and I was told to wait for an offer. However, a few days after my last interview with the Head Engineer, I received a call informing me that they were no longer looking for someone for the SRE position.

Basically, they didn't know if they wanted to hire someone for the position or not, yet they proceeded with all the steps with a candidate.

Although the interview questions were decent and unique, due to inconsistent and poor management of the hiring process, it was a waste of time for both me and their technical team.

Technical competency questions covered Data Structures, Algorithms, and OOP concepts, including the demonstration of your coding skills.

In one of the interviews, a scenario involving AWS was presented. This was to demonstrate your understanding, as it's an SRE interview and AWS technologies are in use.
