Good company values don't guarantee good team culture
- Great pay, benefits, etc.
- Leadership generally tries to be open about decision-making processes.
- Tons of documentation in Confluence.
- Reorgs and changing team assignments result in people feeling like interchangeable resources.
- Lack of communication across business units, and sometimes even teams within the same unit.
- Remote culture is not really supported. Interactions are mostly transactional, and the heavy push for asynchronous work results in a lot of independent documentation followed by waiting for others to read, review, and critique.
