Fun and rewarding
I have been working at Atlassian for the last three months. I am having so much fun. This is a growing, energetic, and cheerful company. People are great, willing to help, and enjoy working as a team. The tools they provide for asynchronous work are excellent. We work as a diverse team with employees all around the globe. Compensation and benefits are excellent.
You will notice processes are not very structured if you come from a large consulting or IT firm. Many positions and areas are still in the work-in-progress stage, and many employees are new (they have been in the company less than a year).
So, there are some overlapping responsibilities and blurry lines.
