The interview process had 4 rounds and was a month-long. After I applied on their website, I received a response after a month. The first round of the interview was with HR, conducted via Zoom with video. This involved a general discussion of my work experience and the company.

After that, I received an email stating I was selected for the second round: an interview with the hiring manager (US-based). This interview was mostly non-technical, focusing on my background, the tech stack used in their team, and many behavioral questions.

The next round was technical, featuring a hands-on coding problem on their online platform and some oral questions on core Java. The coding problem was fairly easy (CC detection using input patterns), but there was a lot of discussion on the process of approaching the solution. After the solution worked correctly with the provided test cases, the manager presented another set of questions to enhance the solution. The coding problem had a time constraint, and the goal was to arrive at a solution that passed all pre-defined test cases.

The final round was again with the manager, but the discussion focused in detail on one of my previous applications, including the DevOps setup.

After these rounds, I did not receive an offer as I lacked the required experience for the role. My only question is why the company would waste my time and its resources if the mismatch was in my experience.
