This was a fairly standard interview process for the position. It included an initial interview/screening, followed by a meeting with a project manager, and then a more detailed technical interview. Everyone involved was very professional and courteous.
However, I'm giving this process a thumbs down for two reasons.
First, I was kept in limbo for nearly three weeks. They forgot to send a rejection email earlier and only informed me after I asked twice for a follow-up.
Second, although they appreciated me pressing for feedback, I was informed that they chose a "rebound" candidate who had worked there before. This was a demoralizing experience, to be strung along as a backup. It's understandable they would hire someone internal or with prior experience, especially since I felt highly qualified for the role. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing rejections in my career.
Imagine you're writing test cases for Google Drive. What are some of the test cases you would write?
