After an initial call with a recruiter, I was invited to interview with two senior developers. The interview was conducted remotely.

First, there was a general discussion about my previous experience and projects. Then, I was asked to code a simple program. However, because my operating system was incompatible with their testing system, I had to verbally describe the code I wanted to write to the senior developer, who then typed it on his machine.

This made the process very awkward, and the code naturally wouldn't compile. The second part of the interview consisted of coding exercises that I could complete on my own machine.
