Standard technical interview process. The hiring manager had very poor soft skills. I am unsure if they are sexist or just incredibly rude and condescending. They came off as very inexperienced.
The interview itself consisted of standard behavioral and some technical questions, but nothing too deep. Despite this, they made the entire interview feel like an interrogation or argument.
They asked a few technical questions, and it felt as though they were trying to trip me up. They even made some odd, leading statements that I did not fall for. When I didn't "fall for it," they conceded I was correct but wanted to make sure.
This was a bizarre way to test a candidate's knowledge. Even outside the "traps," certain comments they made revealed they really didn't know what they were talking about themselves. I did not point this out, as at this point I just wanted to get through the interview politely.
Awful experience. I would not recommend.
