Process

Overall, a very positive experience. The people were highly professional, with an incredible atmosphere and a motivated, responsive, and genuine team. I recommend it to everyone.

The interview process included several stages:

  1. Phone screening with a recruiter
  2. Interview with the hiring manager
  3. A technical task
  4. Cross-functional interviews (team members, peers from other teams)
  5. Interview with the regional lead

The technical task included a case study. It offered very interesting insights, but it wasn't easy to crack for "outsiders". In general, the process went very smoothly and was quite quick, with just a few "minor" things to improve on.

Due to some inflexible contract terms, the offer was declined.

Questions

A good mix of both standard screening questions (Why Autodesk? Why are you leaving your current employer?), situational questions (Tell us about a time when you had to go beyond your responsibilities to satisfy a customer? How do you approach value-based selling? How are you able to quickly learn and adjust to changing environments?), as well as personal questions (What do you do outside of your workplace?).
