They fall for (external) snake oil salesmen who promise the world but can't deliver, resulting in more change.
Some older employees are getting pushed out.
I completed five rounds of interviews with various engineering leaders. In the end, the recruiter ghosted me after the full interview process was complete. This left a negative feeling, given the significant time investment.
There were five rounds of interviews: * Talent Acquisition * Hiring Manager * Peer (director) * Director reports (managers) * Indirect reports (individual contributors) The first three rounds were largely behavioral. The last two rounds touched on
Lots of calls. Met people, not necessarily "meat people" (as in, core staff), but I did not have to take a test. I met people who were in the department. Had to go to San Rafael for the final interview. Lots of calls.
