Good place for managers. Some work from home frequently, some just look at the monitor all day long, and some just walk around, making noise on the floor. They are nothing more than a placeholder; they contribute nothing to the company and the team but earn the most and are the most relaxed.
Engineers are treated as low-cost, easily replaceable workers. You think you just got promoted to principal engineer last year and you are good? Too bad; you could get retrenched because your job can be replaced by a younger, cheaper engineer.
