(1) Low traffic e-store with no significant technical challenges. (2) Low salaries compared to the market in San Francisco. (3) A lot of politics on the store side; all you need to do is show off. Take my word: whoever works diligently will not grow here. Whoever shows off and pretends they are doing something will grow. You don't have to complete what you have started, but you just need to do it in a fancy way. That's it. No quality required or definition of done. If you do this way, you'll be favored by your manager. Why? Because the manager can show this off to their upper level. (4) No proper direction from management, and nobody cares about the customer in the e-commerce team. Everyone codes, but no one troubleshoots.
