Cons: Company lacks transparency, literally 0% transparent in the last few months, ever since this whole drama with WP Engine. Publicly, they are claiming folks were laid off because of performance reasons, that’s literally a lie - there wasn’t any mention of this for them, at all!!! At least not within the last 2 years I was there for. 🙃 Poor management, lack of direction, focus - in short, just being overall badly managed. And collaborators get the blame… On top of that, there are awfully incapable “architects” who have no idea what they’re even talking about leading people astray. Many projects and initiatives are being discarded because of that.

Pros: Great benefits Wonderful co-workers Meetups

Cons: CEO has gone off the deep end lately. Erratic moves, not listening to his lawyers, or anybody for that matter. The most recent event of 16% layoffs was done with zero notice and without reason other than “financial situation” despite admitting revenue has been increasing.

Pros: - Great and smart people - Remote - Good perks like home office allowance or team events

Cons: Your work position does not feel safe anymore. The company has gone through a headcount cut (and keep going) but they’ll never recognise it as layoffs. They justify it with performance issues but it’s not true at all. Many valid colleagues were let go without given a real reason (even asking for it) Now we are all afraid about performance and feedback, which has created a toxic environment. They are pushing people to be “the best in the room or be out of it”
