The company lacks transparency. It's literally 0% transparent in the last few months, ever since this whole drama with WP Engine.
Publicly, they are claiming folks were laid off because of performance reasons. That's literally a lie; there wasn't any mention of this for them, at all! At least not within the last 2 years I was there. 🙃
Poor management, lack of direction, and focus—in short, just being overall badly managed. And collaborators get the blame.
On top of that, there are awfully incapable "architects" who have no idea what they're even talking about leading people astray. Many projects and initiatives are being discarded because of that.
Quit, maybe don’t spend hundreds of millions in petty fights, and after stepping down, rehire the amazing folks that were discarded.
