Pros: Health benefits are good. Getting projects within the bank is good.

Cons: Working in the office is the option, not working from home. Vacation is good.

Pros: Good company. Work-life balance is good.

Cons: Salary may not increase and is not competitive pay.

Pros: The bar here is really low, so it's easy to outperform. Nobody else does anything useful. If you are let go from other banks for non-performance, you can end up here and become an MD/Director easily. You get talented people to do the work, then you take their projects and throw them under the bus. Your MD will manage them out, because people who know what they are doing are a threat. It works well for everyone! The business basically collects rent in the world's largest economy, so regardless of the state your projects are delivered in – if they are delivered at all – it doesn't matter. The goal is to take as much money as possible from the annual technology budget. Whee! If you come from a rich London family, you get promoted even if all your deliverables fail. You get to see what one extreme of "interesting" culture looks like!

Cons: If you are one of the people doing the work, it sucks for you. Expect zero bonus. They will take your project, throw you under a bus, and give you no bonus. This is, of course, a small price to pay for an up-front seat to see how these people work. Like a precious visiting art collection, this is REALLY special and needs to be seen to be believed.
