Cons: - En Masse Contract Cancellation: Multiple contractors were let go at the same time without our direct manager's knowledge. - Outdated Development Framework: Quartz was written at least 15 years ago and is grossly outdated as far as most of the tooling goes. While the backend might be a technological triumph, the developer tools are slow, clunky, and poorly documented. There is an accepted understanding that it will take a new developer 6 months to get up to speed with Quartz. That alone is expensive for the bank, even more so when they let developers go after only 6 months.
