Pros: - Good SDLC. - New technology stack along with legacy, so learning is up there. - Mostly independent work. - Work-life balance is great here. You can start at anytime as long as you complete your deadlines.

Cons: - Just be ready to not be onboarded, but management puts the golden carrot in front of you. - If you are expecting help, well, you might as well call yourself the team. - Very low chance of being retained as an employee. - Learning the system is like learning 20 different languages in a span of 2 weeks at an expert level. - Very short deadlines as dev. So expect a 1-week or less sprint to deliver a feature. - Before anything is worked on, setting up the environment always takes almost 2 weeks to 1 month chasing for information.

Pros: There are lots of educational resources and opportunities. The compensation is decent. You can take advantage of some of their banking benefits.

Cons: Absolutely no work-life balance. Everything is by the book, with incredibly slow practices and lots of legacy systems. The technology culture is poor. As a woman developer, their women-in-technology program needs a lot of improvement. The mentorship program is weak. It takes ages to get promoted. Upper management expects you to live, breathe, and sleep your work, with barely any regard for your personal issues. The insurance benefits are a joke. There's no cohesion to a lot of their policies. If you work on the investment side, all your own investments are tracked by the bank and have to be approved by your direct manager.
