You get to work from home after working at the bank for one year.
No one micromanages you.
Bank holidays + vacation time = 26 days off a year. You also get sick days.
Salary is fair to good depending on the specific job role.
I would recommend this job to a friend if I knew they wanted to work in technology, 100% from home, and needed flexibility.
Not a lot of employee engagement unless you are at an executive level.
No real employee perks other than associate banking.
Not a lot of opportunity for horizontal or vertical movement within the bank. If you want to get a big raise, you are better off switching companies.
They are super cheap when it comes to bonuses and raises unless you are a top executive.
Not a lot of great training opportunities to advance your career unless you're at a VP level or greater.
My team and manager are great. If it were not for them, I would have quit a long time ago, so I can't complain about them.
As for upper management and HR, they need to do a better job of tracking good talent at the bank. A lot of other companies value their top employees and will do a lot to keep them. But the bank views everyone as expendable, so even if you shine, don't expect much from them.
Most of their profits have come from cutting costs, which affects employees (not an increase in business or revenue).
I had one in-person interview for this job. It was an entry-level software QA position, and it lasted about 25 minutes. After the interview, the process took about a month for HR to finalize everything. The interview started out with the manager get
1. Phone interview 2. Written test 3. Group panel discussion Questions will be asked related to: * Backend testing * SQL queries * VB Script basic coding Questions will also be asked about test management.
No one knew what I did or how I did it. Even the recruiter was like, "I don't even know how to interview for this." Fortunately for them, a friend recommended me for the position. However, when we interviewed people, the recruiting staff just didn't
