Pros

The benefits are great, and the work you get to do is interesting enough.

Cons

A hard stance on working from the office, even though the team you work with is global. So, essentially, you drive into the office to sit in a cubicle by yourself while you chat with people from across the world.

Raises suck. My yearly reviews were great; the bank made 30 billion dollars, and raises are basically non-existent. Competitors pay much better.

Advice to Management

LISTEN to the complaints.

I understand you can't give everyone a 30% raise every year, but at least catch up to what your competitors are paying. At the very least, give us raises to account for cost of living increases. The raise I got this year falls about 10% short.

Why is work from home so frowned upon?

Gas is $5 a gallon. The bank keeps padding itself on the back for going green, while 4500 people drive in to work every day. What is the point of that?
