Work-life balance: work from home program, flexible hours, respect.
Salary: On average, it seems good. I'm not entirely satisfied with how performance is rewarded, but this is not necessarily the case in general.
Benefits: Vacation and maternity/paternity leave (3 months!) are better than average.
Incompetence is rampant. Poor leadership and vision from management. Bad performance from management has no consequence. I know some managers that have consistently performed badly, yet they always seem to be promoted.
Granted, this is a challenging environment with all the acquisitions, but still, it seems most managers don't know what they're doing.
Part of it has to do with the constant reorgs. Before senior management performance can be evaluated, it's time for another reorg!
Bureaucracy is too heavy. A huge part of my job is breaking down barriers just so I can add real value.
