It's one of the best feather-in-the-cap items on your resume, as long as you last more than one calendar year. Your mere employment here makes you more valuable to other companies. Poachers will seek you out.
Out of ~250,000 employees, the team and line of business you work for will fully determine your thoughts on the company. Every division is run like its own fiefdom, with salaries, bonuses, perks, scheduling, and flexibility varying wildly.
If you want to learn advanced technology like cloud, AI, and blockchain, it's great. However, the main group that works on those things doesn't pay well, doesn't believe in bonuses for the masses, and tends to treat employees as next-man-up commodities.
It's cheaper, and much more productive, to retain than recruit. Focus on that!
Also, annual training on values is great. Having front-line managers that live by them would be even better.
Very easy. Based on resume and background. Got a call from the recruiter, then a phone screen and an on-site interview. The interview was simple. Met a couple of people from the team. Had 3 rounds of interviews.
Telephonic technical screening. Onsite coding. Two onsite technical interviews. Optional telephonic technical interview (if another manager also wants to talk to you). HR negotiation and policy overview, date decision, etc. Wait for background verifi
It was a good experience as I had reached out to my former managers. The ability to move across teams and network really helps with mobility inside the organization. So, my advice is to build networks and keep in touch with former team members.
