If you are an IT professional, BOA is huge and you will have a lot of chances to learn new things.
They still offer working from home 100 percent of the time for some positions.
Most managers let you do your own thing and don't micromanage you.
Salary is fair, but increases are low each year.
It is difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance. The IT environment is huge, but the number of people supporting it is limited. This results in weekend work as well as long hours at times. You have to be prepared to know a little about a lot of things since you will not be able to work in just one primary role.
Remember that IT runs the business, and it isn't just a place to cut money from. I understand that IT is considered a cost center and not a profit center, but we still need money to be able to attract new talent and to keep people motivated. Training budgets are needed.
Very easy. Based on resume and background. Got a call from the recruiter, then a phone screen and an on-site interview. The interview was simple. Met a couple of people from the team. Had 3 rounds of interviews.
Telephonic technical screening. Onsite coding. Two onsite technical interviews. Optional telephonic technical interview (if another manager also wants to talk to you). HR negotiation and policy overview, date decision, etc. Wait for background verifi
It was a good experience as I had reached out to my former managers. The ability to move across teams and network really helps with mobility inside the organization. So, my advice is to build networks and keep in touch with former team members.
