A civilized place to work and sometimes interesting/challenging work, with lots of change and drive to improve.
Politics between the ML and Bank of America historical employees still persists in some places. The leadership had great drive, ambition, and ideas, which didn't always get translated into action.
I was there for three years and enjoyed my role, but did not see scope for progressing my career. I also would have loved the opportunity to take a global assignment, but they did not appear accessible.
Recognize your teams and create opportunities to progress or experience new roles.
Very easy. Based on resume and background. Got a call from the recruiter, then a phone screen and an on-site interview. The interview was simple. Met a couple of people from the team. Had 3 rounds of interviews.
Telephonic technical screening. Onsite coding. Two onsite technical interviews. Optional telephonic technical interview (if another manager also wants to talk to you). HR negotiation and policy overview, date decision, etc. Wait for background verifi
It was a good experience as I had reached out to my former managers. The ability to move across teams and network really helps with mobility inside the organization. So, my advice is to build networks and keep in touch with former team members.
