There are some wonderful people to work with at BofA; hardworking, kind, and smart. The benefits are good, and the many opportunities to join affinity groups and volunteer to help the community are great.
Overall, the company's mission and message sound good. If you're in a good division, you may find they align. However, due to constant and numerous organizational and leadership changes, you often find it does not align.
I worked for BofA for 9 years and have to say its leadership is tone-deaf, not only to its employees but also to its own managers.
Teams want to contribute and do good work, but the lack of consistent direction and support makes this a difficult task to achieve.
After you do your next Employee Survey, actually listen to the advice given, especially in the areas of tools, process, and the need to develop entry-level and mid-level managers.
Very easy. Based on resume and background. Got a call from the recruiter, then a phone screen and an on-site interview. The interview was simple. Met a couple of people from the team. Had 3 rounds of interviews.
Telephonic technical screening. Onsite coding. Two onsite technical interviews. Optional telephonic technical interview (if another manager also wants to talk to you). HR negotiation and policy overview, date decision, etc. Wait for background verifi
It was a good experience as I had reached out to my former managers. The ability to move across teams and network really helps with mobility inside the organization. So, my advice is to build networks and keep in touch with former team members.
