I had a competitive salary.
Layoffs occur once every quarter. The largest one is always around the Christmas holidays. Only rarely was thought given to the actual value of the employee. More often, I've seen truly competent and respected employees laid off because something was done to displease their manager. Sometimes they were rehired, but always in a reduced capacity and salary.
Stop running the organization for the shareholders instead of the customers and employees.
Very easy. Based on resume and background. Got a call from the recruiter, then a phone screen and an on-site interview. The interview was simple. Met a couple of people from the team. Had 3 rounds of interviews.
Telephonic technical screening. Onsite coding. Two onsite technical interviews. Optional telephonic technical interview (if another manager also wants to talk to you). HR negotiation and policy overview, date decision, etc. Wait for background verifi
It was a good experience as I had reached out to my former managers. The ability to move across teams and network really helps with mobility inside the organization. So, my advice is to build networks and keep in touch with former team members.
