At my location, we had a family-like connection with our team. I loved working with everyone in the store. Low-pressure sales and a casual environment made it great for students looking for a part-time job.
Pay raises are low and rare. There is minimal room for growth in regards to salary. Full-time work is very demanding for little compensation.
When I interviewed, I first had a screening interview with the store lead. After that was completed, I had an in-person interview with the store manager that maybe took 30 minutes.
Very laid back, almost too laid back. Nothing serious. Wore a suit, but felt casual was alright. I don't think the questions were too difficult; they mainly asked scenario and personality questions.
Very easy, basic interview with the store manager. The manager was very friendly and didn't just focus on sales questions, but also talked about our cultures, etc. He hired me on the spot, I signed the required documents, and I was good to go.
