Great atmosphere, amazing training compared to the nearby store I worked at previously. Teamwork and help are always one question away. I was put in the position to constantly surpass expectations due to opportunities. I am constantly around and learning about new technology. There is positive reinforcement by superiors while also keeping a light, fun attitude that Best Buy employees seem to enjoy. The General Manager, "TC," is always about the store, directly involved with customers and helping employees. He doesn't have a smug attitude and sit in SDR like the previous manager did at another location.
CRWs can be hard to find. Some co-workers don't appear to care about giving expert and sincere service to customers.
NPS (customer surveys) do not seem to be emailed to them very often, to the point where customers have returned to ask how they can fill them out or give me recognition by speaking to the GM.
Not likely to reach him by word of mouth and won't receive credit for it anyway.
Teach own take on phases and steps of a sale.
Make CRWs readily available, but still allow employees to work in the way they find most success.
Keep being awesome and pleasant!
When I interviewed, I first had a screening interview with the store lead. After that was completed, I had an in-person interview with the store manager that maybe took 30 minutes.
Very laid back, almost too laid back. Nothing serious. Wore a suit, but felt casual was alright. I don't think the questions were too difficult; they mainly asked scenario and personality questions.
Very easy, basic interview with the store manager. The manager was very friendly and didn't just focus on sales questions, but also talked about our cultures, etc. He hired me on the spot, I signed the required documents, and I was good to go.
