Great job working at a warehouse

Pros

In most departments, the job isn't very tiring. I had the energy to come home every night and apply to better jobs. It wasn't one of those jobs where after you're done, you just want to fall asleep.

Upward mobility and promoting from within from Product Tester to Team Lead does exist. It's nice to see people in the warehouse who started as product testers, got promoted to Team Lead, and then got promoted again. I didn't see any six-figure earners (at least on my side of the warehouse) who got poached from another company; all started in the product tester position and worked their way up.

Cons

6-month contract (or whatever contract they specify when they hire you) doesn't convert to full-time in most cases after completion.

They want to renew you and generally delay things before they start paying for your health coverage.

Had coworkers there for 9+ months that were still on contract and not given full-time when I believe it was a 6-month contract.
