Semi-remote (20 office days/year)
Consistent workflow
Prone to rely on bad/obnoxious third-party software.
Benefits are very basic.
Office lacks recreational activities.
Encourage office days, but it shouldn't have been necessary (Vancouver traffic is horrid).
Phone interview, and then a round of technical interview. The phone interview was about why the company, and related to my experience. Then the next round was technical. Questions about the complexity of an algorithm.
Two rounds of interviews. The first round was mostly technical, with very straightforward questions on JS, React, and a few live coding implementation exercises. The second round was a culture fit interview with questions on Scrum and work ethic.
Phone interview with manager and then a one-hour technical interview with two tech employees and one BA. Overall, a good experience. They will ask about your previous job experience and how much you are willing to learn new skills.
