Recruiter email, filled out interest form / experience, followed up with recruiter, submitted to the Hiring Manager, meeting with hiring manager who was super cool and was just engaging about my experience / what I'm looking for in my next role. Transferred to the team's recruiter, HackerRank that was 5 times better than any other company's HackerRank I did (actually relevant questions and coding style for the specific role), followed by 3 interviews with the team, stakeholders, and producers. All in all, great experience, lots of waiting but completely normal for a game/corporate company. Patience paid off, and so did preparing and doing due diligence to see what interesting things I can talk about / ask about, while also seeing if it would be a good fit for me.
