Process
I had a phone call with a recruiter, then went on to a pair programming session with two Square engineers.
The question was a JavaScript problem on CodePen. It wasn't too difficult, but my time was eaten by searching up vanilla JS DOM manipulation, as I've mostly worked with frameworks.
I really wish that had been made clear before the interview so I could have brushed up on that.
