Process

I was called for an on-campus interview for a Bloomberg L.P. Financial Developer Intern position after the Campus Career Fair. I was contacted immediately on the next day. I was interviewed in-person by two people. They asked me about my projects and requested that I describe what I considered my best project. Then, they asked me the following questions:

  • Memory allocation and deallocation in C and C++
  • Other technical questions about object-oriented programming, virtual functions and vtables, overloading/overriding, and static variables.

I finally received a rejection after three weeks.

Questions

  1. You have a method called putchar() that draws a character on the screen. Write a method putInt() that will draw an integer on the screen using only putchar().

  2. Reverse a linked list.
