Two individuals interviewed me at the school's career center. They repeatedly asked me questions about C++ even though I informed them it was not my primary language.
Afterward, I was given a programming test.
They were even particular about the variable names I chose.

Pros: Many excellent trainings, both on Finance and Programming.
The intern program is nice, and I learned a lot from my teammates.
Cons: The work can be boring if you have been there for many years. A messy codebase makes it hard to change and maintain.

Pros: Very organized internship, with training at the beginning for one and a half weeks. Work was put into production.
Cons: The team's work wasn't very exciting, but the team was great and welcoming. Company culture is somewhat intense, maybe too much so.

Pros: Free snacks and soft drinks.
Pay is good.
The company really pays a lot of attention to the internship program.
The people working there are smart.
Cons: Technology is amazingly old. Do you know Comdb?
Managers don't care about your feelings as long as you get the work done, regardless of how you achieved it.
For an intern, whether you can get a full-time job offer is independent of how your work was during the summer, even if you work hard and your mentor and manager like you.
