Process
I submitted my resume at the campus job fair. A week later, I received an email to schedule an on-campus interview.
I met the interviewers at my school's career center. Initially, they asked questions such as "Why Bloomberg?" and "Why are you interested in finance?" Then, two algorithm-based questions were presented. I wrote my code on paper.
The interviewers were very nice and amicable.

Reverse a singly linked list.
Find the first two largest numbers in an array of integers.

Pros: Bloomberg is a great place to gain independence and make decisions. Even interns were given very useful work and were encouraged to try new things and make their own decisions. So Bloomberg really trusts its employees, which allows them to grow.
Cons: One downside of working at Bloomberg is that it is primarily a financial software company. There are several other things, like web and legal, you can develop for, but apart from that, it's mostly financial. It wasn't a downside for me, though, because I really enjoy financial software development.

Pros: Very organized internship, with training at the beginning for one and a half weeks. Work was put into production.
Cons: The team's work wasn't very exciting, but the team was great and welcoming. Company culture is somewhat intense, maybe too much so.

Pros: Free snacks and soft drinks.
Pay is good.
The company really pays a lot of attention to the internship program.
The people working there are smart.
Cons: Technology is amazingly old. Do you know Comdb?
Managers don't care about your feelings as long as you get the work done, regardless of how you achieved it.
For an intern, whether you can get a full-time job offer is independent of how your work was during the summer, even if you work hard and your mentor and manager like you.
