The process begins with basic buddy coding on one of many sites, alongside an engineer. This is followed by some basic personal questions, and then an in-person interview. The process itself is straightforward and standard, but that's about the only positive aspect.
I ended up dropping out right after the initial buddy coding session over the phone. The engineer clearly didn't want to be there; he sounded as if he wanted to die. When I attempted to answer his questions, he would constantly interrupt my thoughts by huffing and puffing, letting out long, drawn-out sighs into the phone as I was trying to work. The questions weren't even difficult, but when you're already nervous, having someone sound like they're expelling dramatic groans of death on the phone really hinders your ability to think. If working at the company is anything like this interview experience, I'm not interested at all.
