A recruiter connected me with the company. I submitted my application via their online career site.
I received a request to complete an online technical assessment within two days. The assessment had two parts, with 40 questions each.
The questions were fairly straightforward, focusing on basic pointer types. I had three days to complete the assessment.
Once completed, I was contacted within a day to schedule a phone interview for the following week. The phone interview was more detailed, but still within the C/C++ scope. Questions included how to determine endianness without library calls and how to write strcmp without library calls.
Having passed the phone screen, I was invited to the in-person interview two days later. The in-person interview consisted of three technical sessions and one HR session.
The technical questions were again straightforward C/C++. Examples included implementing itoa without library calls and implementing a thread-safe queue's push()/pop() methods.
I was presented with an offer by the end of the day via my recruiter.
