The interview process consisted of two telephonic rounds followed by two on-site rounds.
Telephonic Round 1: Featured one LeetCode medium and one LeetCode easy problem. The interviewers were pleasant, and I enjoyed the experience.
Telephonic Round 2: Included two LeetCode medium problems. The interviewers were pleasant and polite. At this point, I had a very good feeling about the company.
On-site Round 1: Involved one LeetCode medium problem. However, the interviewer aggressively questioned me on every line of code while I was still formulating the solution, constantly interrupting my progress. This disrupted my focus throughout the interview, and I was unable to finish coding the solution. This round left me with a bitter feeling about the company's culture and the type of people they hire.
On-site Round 2: Focused on one LeetCode medium problem, specifically a dynamic programming (DP) question. I developed a solution using memoization and implemented it. While the memoized version had the same time complexity in terms of Big O notation as a DP solution, the interviewer insisted that the memoized version had "more time complexity" (their words) than the DP solution. I explained that while constants might differ and memoization could lead to stack overflow, the Big O time complexity remained the same.
Additionally, I found the security guards deployed in the company pantry to be quirky.
