Process
The interviewer was helpful and gave lots of hints. Apparently, I did not know they have two technical rounds, and I spent all the time on one question.
The question was quite simple, but not getting to all the rounds basically disqualifies you.

A decent place to work for life
Software Engineer • Current Employee
August 23, 2010
Pros: Decent compensation. Many interesting perks, like free admission to museums and an annual picnic. The company culture is on the laid-back side, as a financial company. This should be an ideal "last job" for anyone.
Cons: The technology used in Bloomberg is pretty boring. In my group, we use a little bit of everything, and the problems we work on are usually pretty shallow from a technology point of view.

Good Wlb, Slow Tech
Software Engineer • Current Employee
New York, NY

Pros: Great work-life balance. I am able to complete a part-time degree.
Cons: Not moving fast enough, old tech stack.

Once a great company
Software Engineer • Current Employee
New York, New York, United States
January 3, 2013
Pros: Job stability - you won't get laid off unless you are completely incompetent, and even then you might not get laid off.
Cons: Mediocre talent pool. Tons of bureaucracy and politics. Poor management/leadership. Little to no career growth unless you are a "Kool-Aid drinker."
