I first went through a phone interview, which was about 40 minutes.
I was asked to talk about a project I did. I was given two problems to code using the HackerRank interface and a higher-level question about how the merge in mergesort works. None of the code I wrote was run.
I passed the phone interview and was flown to New York City for in-person interviews. It was interview day for a bunch of interns, so we were given a tour.
I then did an interview with two engineers where I was asked about my projects again, and I worked through some problems with paper and pencil. Lunch was provided.
After lunch, I interviewed with another engineer where I was asked to talk about myself a little bit, and I completed another programming problem on pencil and paper.
I did pretty poorly with the in-person interviews and was rejected about a week and a half later.
