The interview process began with an initial call with the recruiter, followed by a 1:1 with a Bloomberg employee.
This 1:1 consisted of 20 minutes of behavioral questions and 30-40 minutes dedicated to a HackerRank problem.
The next step was the final round. This day was uncomfortable.
I had two interviewers, one of whom seemed completely uninterested. At the end of the interview, the interviewers were required to make an immediate decision on whether I would advance to another round. It was clear my two interviewers were not on the same page.
One interviewer stated, "Umm, okay, I guess HR will follow up with next steps. Is that good for you?"
I received a rejection four days later.
A problem based on intervals.
