Process

They contacted me via LinkedIn to apply on their website. I found a good match and applied.

It took a week to set up a suitable time for a phone interview. A HackerRank link was sent to code in pairs with the interviewer. I was introduced to the interviewer two days before the interview.

I did well in the first interview. They told me that the process should involve two online interviews, and then I would come on-site for another interview.

The second interview was a Skype interview with two engineers from Bloomberg L.P.

It was smooth, but yet harder than I expected. I didn't go further in the process.

Questions

When you choose your programming language, they ask specific questions regarding the language. It was C++ for me. Then, I was asked pointer and memory questions in addition to OOP questions, which you'll find in "Tips and Tricks."

I was asked about the Longest Common Subsequence and Max Value Path in a Grid. Both were Dynamic Programming problems.
