Software Engineer Interview Experience - London, United Kingdom

November 1, 2022
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The interview process begins with a technical coding interview following the CV screen, which includes some behavioral questions.

The next round is a virtual onsite day, divided into three separate interviews encompassing both technical (coding) and behavioral components.

HR communication with applicants is terrible. They place too many candidates in the interview pipeline and cannot manage them effectively. One of my interviews was postponed by two weeks, just two hours before it was scheduled to take place. I was not invited to the next round of interviews despite receiving positive feedback, as there were not enough available slots. Applicants are treated like numbers, which feels very disrespectful.

Questions

LeetCode medium questions and simple behavioral questions asking about your technical background and "Why Bloomberg?".

The interviewer also briefly discusses a project from your resume.
