The interview process took exactly 3 months to complete. I applied in mid-September 2020.
I first started with the phone screening in the first week of October. I was scheduled for the technical rounds for mid-November.
After the technical rounds, it took another 2 weeks for the recruiter to get back to me, and I was scheduled for one other technical round. After a week of that, an hour-and-a-half-long recruiter and Engineering Manager round was scheduled.
After a week, I got a call and was rejected.
The interview process was too long, and I was kept in limbo for quite a long time in between interviews. It made my life a whole lot more stressful.
I tackled many Bloomberg-tagged questions on LeetCode, and the questions came from them. I was also asked a design question, so go prepared with that too.
Expect two technical questions in each technical round. The engineering manager round is tricky as well. It depends on your luck.
Some managers only briefly review your resume and ask behavioral questions. I was asked discussion-type, scenario-based design questions related to the projects on my resume. Go prepared!
