Software Engineer Interview Experience - Princeton, New Jersey

January 1, 2016
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The process took about one month.

Initial contact was made by a recruiter, followed by a technical phone interview. After two weeks, I received an invitation to an onsite interview.

The onsite interview consisted of two back-to-back technical rounds.

Observations during the onsite:

  • Some interviewers were on their phones throughout the interview, making it difficult to ascertain if they were paying attention to my responses.
  • The reimbursement of only $100 for the gift card was insufficient to cover ground transportation from the hotel to the office and from the office to the airport.
  • No food was provided during the lunch break.
