Pros: Great benefits. Very good work-life balance.
Very unique market position gives a great scope to learn about several aspects of the financial world.
Much better diversity than some of the other companies. More importantly, the diversity focus is actually visible in daily life.
Encourages employees to contribute to society through volunteering.
Comps are lower than the industry, but they are not tied to a stock price, so they are more stable across time.
Cons: Business direction can be confusing at times.
There are frequent changes in the direction without much explanation to the rank and file engineers.
At least within the same group, business focus should be convergent, which does not appear to be the case.
