Pros: Lots to learn from the environment.

Cons: Work-life balance is not the best due to a large workload.

Pros: Great compensation, a true focus on diversity and inclusion, 85% of company profits go to philanthropies, flexible projects, and amazing intern events.

Cons: My experience was all positive.

Pros: -- Great work/life balance. -- Intern mentor pairing program was quite effective. My mentor was the product owner of my intern project and assisted me throughout the whole summer (the best resource who was always there for me). -- Countless intern events for our engineering intern class, such as Code Day (prizes included the newly released Nintendo Switch!) and Overnight Puzzle Challenge. -- Competitive pay. -- The company's openness and transparency was so refreshing (not as bureaucratic as other big tech companies). -- THE FOOD! Massive pantry, daily soup, and weekly ice cream (every Friday).

Cons: Legacy code can be annoying; it takes a while to get used to the company's codebase. The UI/UX of the terminal wasn't optimal, but it's been the same for years, so revamping it in its entirety is a bit unrealistic. It doesn't provide a housing stipend for NYC residents (I no longer live with my parents in Brooklyn and had a special case which was unfortunately rejected), though they provide a housing stipend and relocation fee for all out-of-state interns.
