Applied online.
Attended three one-hour on-campus interviews over successive days.
Questions were not overly difficult but were mainly technical.
- Day 1: Started with a pair of recruiters asking questions together.
- Day 2: Featured a single recruiter, but the questions were similar to the first day.
- Day 3: The first half involved a project manager, followed by the second half, which focused on HR-related questions with the R&D recruiter.
Questions
Can a C++ constructor throw an exception? If so, how should it be handled?
Assume you have a large file with lines of timestamps and IP addresses. Timestamps are ordered, but may repeat and may skip. How do you determine whether there is a time window that has a certain IP address appearing more than k times? How would you solve this if instead you received a stream?

Pros: If you get the right team, you'll be working with modern tools and encouraged to contribute to inner source.
A supportive environment.
A lot of access to continuing education, volunteering, and benefits.
Clear boundaries and responsibilities, an energetic environment.
Very technically capable employees (collaborative growth).
Good pay.
Internal mobility is now encouraged.
Cons: If you get a bad team or a bad legacy project, it can be a horrible experience. I've seen several talented engineers get frustrated at the lack of impetus to improve existing systems.
Business often bleeds its responsibilities into engineering, leading to rushed projects or bad decisions because non-engineers are driving the conversation. A lot of internal forks of third-party projects or dated Bloomberg implementations of existing tech (related to the above, fortunately changing). Normal trappings of internal politics expected of large organizations.
