The process began with a phone interview featuring a simple base conversion problem, followed by an invitation for an on-site interview at the London offices.

There were two interviews during the on-site:

• One technical interview, which consisted of three simple algorithmic problems.
• One interview with a senior engineer and HR. This interview involved switching back and forth between HR questions and a systems design problem. The systems design question was not difficult.

The final interview concluded shortly after a discussion of my future academic plans.
