Pros: Loved the people, and the snacks! A great company to do an internship with!

Cons: None I can think of. The pay is fairly good, but maybe not as good as some other companies might provide.

Pros: Great colleagues. Open, collaborative environment. Great benefits. Beautiful office space. Training opportunities. Good work/life balance. Free drinks and snacks. Good culture for the most part.

Cons: Work is often dull and uninspiring. Almost zero greenfield development takes place. This is due to massive amounts of poorly written legacy code that is heavily relied on for the business to continue running. Tons of red tape. Stuck using antiquated tech like C++03, FORTRAN, and AIX. A ton of wasted productivity due to long build times and migration efforts to Linux that should have started 20 years ago. Favoritism in the promotion process in some cases (people 2 years out of a training class with no project management experience promoted over veterans with track records of producing results). Since 2016, raises have generally been below inflation for many across the firm. The firm is becoming more political over time, with managers focusing on presentation more than delivery.

Pros: You will be well compensated. Their benefits are the epitome of the golden handcuffs. Not to mention the other perks you get, such as discount tickets to all types of events in NYC. They also offer free snacks. Their bonus structure is open, so you know what to expect as a bonus.

Cons: Big company with many people competing to move up.
