Pros: Loved the people, and the snacks! A great company to do an internship with!

Cons: None I can think of. The pay is fairly good, but maybe not as good as some other companies might provide.

Pros: The training program for out-of-college new hires is very thorough. The knowledge learned in the initial year is very useful. It is substantial in both quantity and quality.

Cons: The company is very fast-paced, so there's no time to think through the design. It is more important at the company to get the results out rather than have a solid design. This means create a hack, a short-term band-aid solution that will fix the issue at hand and get the product out the door, even if the hack will create a huge amount of problems down the road. Also, junior programmer's bonuses are not decided based on the person's performance. They are rather divided from the leftovers in the bonus pool after the management and the senior developers get their share. (Each department gets a dedicated bonus pool.)

Pros: Good procedures to bring new employees on board. Good technical help. Good service considering alpha/beta/prod deployments. A well-defined programming framework.

Cons: There are two major issues which drastically diminish effectiveness and vitality: * Non-diverse teams – HR should be more competent and take a good look at the last names when they hire. * Full-time employees might not be displaying enough proficiency; therefore, hiring consultants is the only way to cover up employee incompetence.
