Bloomberg L.P. is a company that offers an incredible amount for its employees. In addition to good earnings, there are great bonus benefits. Furthermore, there are excellent opportunities to shape one's career. An incredible amount of training is offered, and one gets the opportunity to be active in various areas beyond one's own field.
As in any large company that has existed for many years, you can get involved in projects where the code has been around for some time. Then it's time to roll up your sleeves and bring the codebase up to scratch. Whether this is a disadvantage is in the eye of the beholder.
